CVS Buys Out Two Paris Drug Stores

Paris, Tenn.–CVS has bought two Paris drug stores–Paris Pharmacy and Eastwood Pharmacy.
In a social media post, Paris Pharmacy says their last day to be open at 1025B Mineral Wells Ave. will be Friday.
“We at Paris Pharmacy have been bought out by CVS. It is true our last day here will be this Friday 9/30- All prescriptions filled here must be picked up by (Wednesday) please. All records will automatically be transferred Friday night and All of us here including Scott (Aubuchon) will be going to work at CVS on Monday 10/3/2022. We look forward to seeing our customers and ALL the new customers.”
Owner Aubuchon said, “We want to give a sincere Thank You to all our loyal customers, and welcome new ones too at CVS. It’s been an honor to fill prescriptions for so many people in Paris and Henry county for nearly 30 years, and look forward to many more with an impressive crew of pharmacy staff.”
Eastwood’s owners said their last day to be open at 1325 E. Wood St. is Thursday, September 29.
In Eastwood Pharmacy’s post, they said, “We have sold out to CVS Pharmacy. September 29th will be the last day that we will be open. Now we wanted to let everyone know that most of the staff here will be going to work for CVS Pharmacy even Casey. Casey and the staff would like to say how much we appreciate each one of our customers. Thank you to everyone for giving us the opportunity to take care of you. We hope to see each and everyone of you at CVS.”
CVS is located at 1119 Mineral Wells Ave. in Paris.
It has been widely reported nationally that CVS Caremark has been buying out small pharmacies across the country in recent years.
