Arthur Wayne Ramirez, 56, of Springville, Tennessee, died Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at his residence.
Arthur was born Thursday, March 31, 1966, in Osceola, Arkansas, to Arthur Ramirez and Lucy Faye Macon Shepperson, who both survive, of Springville, Tennessee.
He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the War in Iraq where he received several medals. He loved fishing, riding his UTV, and his dog, “Lady”. He was loved very much by his family.
Along with his father and mother, he is also survived by two children: Brandon Ramirez, of Buchanan, Tennessee, and Brandy Ramirez, of Paducah, Kentucky; one son-in-law who he loved like a son: Roman Ortiz, of Paris; one sister: Paula Ann Webb, of Manilla, Arkansas; one brother: Kenneth Dale Ramirez, of Arkansas; three grandchildren: Karmyn Elise Robinson, of Paducah, Kentucky, Mariah Bailey Robinson, of Paducah, Kentucky, and Jasmin Ortiz, of Paris; one niece: Megan Ramirez; and two nephews: Brandtly Ramirez and Alex Rodriquez.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242. Visitation will be Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Chad Kennedy officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Burial with military honors will be in Memorial Cemetery in Paris, Tennessee.
