As Executive Director of the Dixie, she is responsible for the planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing all functions, administrative and operational, of the center under the direction of the Mayor of the Town of Huntingdon.
When asked about her new appointment, she said she is, “incredibly excited for this opportunity and is looking forward to the 17th performance season at The Dixie,” which was recently announced on The Dixie’s website and social media outlets.
“I had the honor of working under the direction of the two previous executive directors, Lee Warren and Lori Neal Nolen, who were instrumental in demonstrating leadership in the arts, and I plan to continue all the artistic endeavors that The Dixie is known for and that the public expects.” she said, “This year, The Dixie’s lineup includes a large variety of music genres from Lorrie Morgan to The Band of Heathens and our Education Series includes shows like Magic in Motion and the Velveteen Rabbit, but I am most excited about the return of the Bethel Renaissance program and our locally produced production of Christmas at The Dixie.”
