
Paris, Tenn.–At Monday’s Henry County Grand Jury session, an inmate who escaped from the Northwest Correctional Complex in Lake County in 2020 was indicted on charges of aggravated kidnapping.
A total 57 indictments were handed down, 25 of which were secret (they will remain secret until the persons are arrested).
Robert Lee Brown, age 38, was indicted on two counts of aggravated kidnapping involving the escape which launched a two-state manhunt. Brown and another inmate, Christopher Osteen, escaped and both were later apprehended separately in Florida.
During the escape, the men were alleged to have kidnapped an employee of the Fulton County Ky. highway department and drove his company truck to Henry County where they allegedly broke into a residence on Reynoldsburg Road and tied up the homeowner to steal his truck.
Osteen was not indicted in Henry County.
Among other indictments were:
–Robert Eubanks, age 51, Paris, two counts aggravated rape.
–Kila Kitu Palmer, age 49, Paris, five counts statutory rape by an authority figure.
–Rosemary Evans, age 28, Paris, sexual battery by an authority figure.
–Garrett Hill, age 27, sexual battery.
–Sean Barnett, age 36, Buchanan, escape.
As usual, the bulk of the indictments issued involved drug violations, thefts and burglaries.
