Lovie Laverne Woods, 74, of Dover, Tennessee, was called home to be with the Lord April 16, 2022, at her residence with her loved ones by her side.
She was born Wednesday, January 14, 1948, the beloved daughter of the late Harold Edgar and Willie Olene Woods. Lovie was a loving, caring daughter, sister, aunt and friend who shared many memories with her family and caregivers through the Progressive Directions, Inc. of Dover, Tennessee. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dover, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, June Atkins and brother, Richard Woods.
She is survived by her brother Albert Ray Woods of Tennessee Ridge, Tennessee, and many loyal friends through the PDI program of Dover, Tennessee.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Taylor’s Chapel Cemetery, Big Rock, Tennessee, with Bro. William Gray officiating. Those serving as pallbearers are Ray Woods, Richard Woods, Brandon Woods, Randy Taylor, Austin Terrell and Andy Fraker.
