Mr. Hardy ‘Ray’ Johnson, 60, of Indian Mound, Tenn., passed away April 12, 2022, at his residence peacefully with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Memphis, Tenn., Monday, July 31, 1961, the beloved son of the late William and Virginia Johnson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his best friend and loyal pup, Banjo.
He enjoyed being outside, loved fishing and woodworking. He was a hard worker and enjoyed working as the Locksmith at Vanderbilt University for 17 years. He faithfully attended Pegram Baptist Chruch. He proudly served his country for 8 years in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Angie Johnson, sons: Jonathan (Brittany) Craig, of Clarksville, Tenn., Joshua Johnson, of Nashville, Tenn., daughters: Jacqueline (Mehdi) Fakhrahmad, of Indian Mound, Tenn., Makaylia Dreyer, of Memphis, Tenn., granddaughter: Aeryn Fakhrahmad, grandsons: Cassius Fakhrahmad, Sylar Fakhrahmad, Magnus Ray Fakhrahmad, sisters: Elizabeth Ann Ricketts of Boliver, Tenn,, Elaine Johnson, of Jackson, Tenn., Denise (Mike) Davidson, of Enville, Tenn,, niece: Melissa and (Ron) Bryant, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 16, 2022, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home. Funeral service will be April 16, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Clark officiating.
