Sandra Scott Johnson

Sandra Scott Johnson, 85 of Paris, Tenn., died Thursday, March 25, 2022, at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

She retired after many years as an insurance agent in Florida.  After her retirement, she became a caregiver for her family members.  Sandra loved watching her nephew play football for the Henry County Patriots, and still enjoyed going to games after his graduation.  She was an avid Tennessee Lady Vols basketball fan and loved to dance.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Sandra was born December 16, 1939, to the late James Russell Scott and the late Eleanor Lockhart Robertson.

She was married to Lou Johnson, who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers Charlie Robertson and James “Jimmy” Robertson and her fiancé, Gerald “Bunny” Spaulding.

She is survived by one son Brian (Monica) Yelton, of Oregon, one sister Deborah Brossett of Springfield, Mo., one brother Ronald Robertson, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., one sister-in-law Gail Robertson of Paris, one granddaughter Cassandra Yelton and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tenn. 38242.  The body is to be cremated.

Memorial visitation will be Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the memorial service beginning at 2 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Emily Walker officiating.
