Murray, Ky.–Murray State University officials announced this afternoon, “The most recent weather predictions indicate the arrival of freezing rain and ice in the area much earlier than anticipated. In light of the recent forecast and in the interest of safety, the Presidential Lecture and all related events scheduled for this evening in the CFSB Center have been cancelled.”
Actor W.Earl Brown, a Murray State alumnus, had been scheduled to speak at the Presidential Lecture.
A reschedule date has not been announced.
