Helping Hand Radio Auction Now At $279,796

Paris, Tenn.–With the $6,672 raised today, the grand total of the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is now at $279,796.

Today’s items were donated by the Sunnyside, Country Wood, Scenic Hills/Castleton Cove neighborhoods, Henry Co. Food Bank, Ladies With SWAG, and HCHS Fishing Team. Today’s auctioneer was Darrin Thompson, with the Kiwanis Club helping with the phones.

Wednesday’s items will be donated by Country Club Estates/Nelson/Shady Grove, HCHS Cross Country, Paris Landing Community and Wesley Living. Auctioneers will be Jamie Orr and Andy Collins.

The annual auction started on Monday and will continue through March 2, raising funds for over 80 local non-profit and service organizations.

Photos of items that are donated each day are posted on the “Henry County Helping Hand” Facebook page. Anyone who wants to bid on any item can describe the item or give the number of the item as posted on the Facebook page.

The auction is broadcast daily over WTPR 101.7 FM and 710 AM at 12:30 p.m. You can also listen on our website at www.radionwtn.com, where it is live streamed.
