Henry, Tenn.–The Henry Volunteer Fire Department responded to an equipment fire at Tosh Farms Thursday night.
Firefighters were called to Tosh on a report of a piece of equipment on fire around 10:30 p.m.
They responded with seven firefighters to find a dryer with feed burning. Firefighters worked for an hour on extinguishing the fire and cleared the scene. Minor damaged was sustained to the equipment.
They were assisted by Tosh Farms Employees and the Henry County 911 Dispatch Center.
Henry Fire officials said, “We would like to take a moment to remind folks to always report your incident to our 911 center in the event you require emergency services for any emergency such as fire. This allows our dispatchers to collect vital information for our response as well as allows our emergency responders to focus their response.”
