Dover, Tenn.–For the sixth year, Christmas wreaths are gracing the gravestones at the Fort Donelson National Cemetery as part of Wreaths Across America. A wreath-laying ceremony was held over the weekend at which wreaths were placed at more than 1,200 of the national cemetery’s stone markers. The wreaths will stay up through the holidays and beyond to provide the public the opportunity to reflect upon the heroic individuals that over the course of American history put their lives on the line for our freedoms, officials said.
