Paris, Tenn.–With colder temperatures and rainfall throughout Saturday in the forecast, the decision has been made to cancel the Holly Jolly Electric Christmas Parade, which was rescheduled for Saturday, December 18th.  The parade originally was set for last Saturday, but was cancelled due to the tornadoes.

Santa and Mama Claus will be in their house from 10 AM-2 PM and from 3 PM-4:30PM.  Also shoppers can enjoy a free cup of coffee at Jack’s Java from 2 PM-4 PM when they present a receipt as proof they have shopped at a Downtown Business.

The Paris-Henry County Arts Council will also have a reading of the Polar Express at noon and 4 PM at the old Train Depot on Fentress Street.  The Passport Deadline has been extended to Tuesday, December 21st.  Take advantage of those shopping opportunities and receive a chance to win $1,000.

The parade will not be rescheduled again this year.
