Union City, Tenn.–Alabama Head Football Coach Nick Saban arrived at Everett Stewart Regional Airport yesterday on his way to seal the deal with ‘Bama recruit Ty Simpson.
Simpson is the Westview High School Quarterback and was voted MVP after the team won the TSSAA Class 2A title over the weekend with its 55-14 win over Hampton.
Saban was greeted at the airport by Interim Airport Manager Jim Bondurant
According to the website ‘Bama Central, “Alabama head coach Nick Saban and offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien will have an in-home visit with Simpson this week, and Simpson is set to be an early enrollee.”
Alabama, ‘Bama Central said, “has a great future player and leader in the Tennessee native, and he proved it with his senior campaign.”
