Nashville, Tenn.–Henry County General Sessions/Juvenile Court Judge Vicki Snyder is one of three finalists for a Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals vacancy.
The Governor’s Council for Judicial Appointments made the announcement after meeting Wednesday. At that time, there were five applicants for the position and after a public hearing and interviews with the five, the final candidates were narrowed down to: Judge Vicki Snyder; 26th Judicial District Judge Donald Allen of Madison County; and 30th Judicial District Judge John Campbell Sr., of Shelby County.
The Council has forwarded these three names to Governor Bill Lee for his consideration.
The Court of Criminal Appeals vacancy was created by the retirement of the Honorable Alan E. Glenn, effective July 1, 2021.
