Kiwanis of Union City to serve pancakes November 20th at Union City Middle School

The Kiwanis Club of Union City will fire up the griddles at Union City Middle School for the 10th Annual Myrtle Harton Pancake Day to raise money for local children’s projects. As in years past, members of The Kiwanis Club of Union City will offer pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice for

$5.00 from 7:00 AM to Noon on the Nov. 20 th .

“We know kids need Kiwanis, in our community and around the world,” said John Fry – Public Relations Chair for the club. “This is a fun and easy way for us to raise much needed funds to support our local projects. After all, who doesn’t love to eat pancakes?”

The fundraiser provides resources for club projects such as our Student of the Month/Student of the Year program – recognizing local high school students throughout the year, Special Olympics, Salvation Army Angel Tree program and so much more. “In an era of municipal and school budget cuts, our club can step in and provide the necessary elements for children to thrive prosper and grow,” said Fry “Who knew eating pancakes could help so many children.”
