Paris, Henry County Represented At Rural Tourism Conference

Paris, Tenn.–Henry County was well-represented this week at the Rural Tourism Conference in Sweetwater, Tennessee, with Paris-Henry County Chamber CEO Travis McLeese as a panelist and Chamber Community Relations Director Kasey Muench as moderator for the panel discussion on outdoor tourism.
Over 200 Tourism Representatives from Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi are meeting this week.
McLeese said he spoke the importance being creative when overcoming obstacles in outdoor tourism markets. “I dove into the battle with Asian Carp and how we created the Tennessee River Jam and the Cody Nance PBR to diversify our tourism revue streams.”
Panelists included Melissa Woody from Bradley County and Blaina Best from Monroe County.
