Moultrie, Georgia–2021 Tennessee Farmer of the Year Jay Yeargin of Weakley County is representing the state at the Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie, Georgia.
Jay and his wife, Alice Ann, operate a farm in Weakley County where they produce row crops, cattle, hay, as well as offer custom dozer and track hoe work.
The Farmer of the Year awards highlight each farmer’s long and distinguished career in ag production, marketing, business management, applied research, environmental innovations, community service, and contributions to industry-related organizations and their community. The Yeargins are great examples of just that.
