REAL Hope Rally To Feature Motivational Speaker, Games, Dunking Booth & More

Paris, Tenn.–The R.E.A.L. Hope Youth Rally gets underway this Saturday at 4 PM at the Henry County Fairgrounds.  Motivation speaker and illusionist Tom Coverly will be the keynote speaker of the evening, and everyone is invited to come out enjoy the event from start to end.  There will be a drawing for a Nintendo Switch gaming system and a PS5 as well.
REAL Hope Executive Director Carl Anderson encourages people of all ages to come out for this first annual event.  He emphasizes that this is not a fund raising event but an awareness campain for all to know just exactly what R.E.A.L Hope is all about.  Plans are to eventually build a “YMCA” type facility for the youth of Henry County.  Land has already been purchased off of Peppers Drive in Paris.
Everyone is encouraged to “mask up” for the event.  Sanatizing stations will be open as well.  A “corn hole” competition for two age groups 9th grade through high school and elementary through middle school that will start at 4:00.  No charge to compete and the winners for both groups will win $200.  A dunking booth will feature local principals and others and will be the only event during the period that will require money.  $1 will purchase three tosses to attempt to dunk the celebrity.
COVID-19 protocol measures will be in place. Masks are recommended and temperatures will be taken before entrance into the Commercial Building.
