Paris, Tenn.–As it always is, the Thursday of Henry County Fair Week was an especially busy one, with the Junior Market Shows ongoing all day, culminating in the Junior Livestock Sale in the evening.
The crowd was large for the sale and the bids were fast. A total 87 steer, lambs, hogs and goats were entered in the sale: 35 steer, 35 hogs, 12 goats and 5 lambs.
Winner of Grand Champion Hog was Bryleigh Hayes, daughter of Chuck and Cheri Hayes, who has won three years in a row. Reserve Champ Hog winner was Maci Smith, daughter of John and Ashley Smith. Grand Champion Bred and Born winner was Michael Eschel, son of James and Chelsea Eschel. Reserve Champ Bred and Born was Ryker Heaton, son of Shannon Carson and Boyd Heaton.
In the Junior Market Steer category, Serena Gladwell won Grand Champion. She is the daughter of TJ Gladwell and Heather Melton. Winner of Reserve Champ was Emeri Whipple with parents Wade and Kristen Whipple; Bred and Born Champ Reagan Bostick with parents RUss and Wendy Orr; Reserve Champ Bred and Born, Taylor Dunagan with parents Stan and Stephanie Dunagan.
In the Junior Market Lamb category, Overall Grand Champion was Charlotte Schultz, daughter of Jeremie and Molly Schultz. Overall Reserve Champ was Kara Parker, daughter of Craig and Christie Parker.
In the Junior Market Goat Sale category, Overall Grand Champ was Kadie Stephenson, daughter of Leanne Stephenson. Overall Reserve Champ was Ty Stephenson, son of Leanne Stephenson.
