Henry County Fair Off To A Busy Start

Paris, Tenn.–The first day of the Henry County Fair Saturday was a busy one, with the Dairy Show, BBQ Cook-Off, and beauty revues. A steady crowd was on hand at the fairgrounds all day for the activities.

Big B won Grand Champion and Crove Food Co. won Reserve Champion of the BBQ Cook-Off. There were 11 teams that were cooking all night at the fairgrounds for the contest.

Four local family dairy farms competed in the Dairy Show. Miss Preteen, Miss Teen and Fairest of the Fair contests were held, with the Little Miss, Junior Miss and Baby Barnyard held Sunday.

Sunday’s Schedule:

2 p.m. 4-H Youth Grilling Contest

2 p.m. Little Miss

2:45 p.m. Junior Miss

3:30 p.m. Baby Barnyard

Monday, August 9:

11 to 6 p.m. Entries accepted

5:30 p.m. Junior Livestock Kiddie Night

5:30-7:30 p.m. Cruise In Classic Cars Randall French performing

6-8:30 p.m. Roaming Magician

6:30 p.m. CHOPPED Fair Style, cooking demos.
