Dyersburg, TN— Sunday evening, DPD responded to A Street in reference to a domestic involving a firearm. Officers arrived and heard yelling. Officers were informed by the victim that his father, Anthony Rose, 59, Dyersburg, had been drinking and pulled a gun on him threatening to kill him.
Rose was found to be a convicted felon and was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm. While being handcuffed, Rose told the officer that he would kill his son and the officer next time. Rose was transported to jail, where he again made the threat to kill his son and the police next time they come around. Rose was charged with retaliation for past actions and unlawful possession of a firearm. Rose was jailed pending Dyersburg City Court action today at 4:00 p.m.
