Calloway Co. Pursuit Ends In Arrest Of Paris Man

New Concord, Ky.–A Paris man was arrested on numerous charges –including aggravated DUI and fleeing and evading–early this morning in Calloway County.

At 12:30 a.m. today, Calloway County Sheriff’s Deputy J. Hayden attempted to stop a vehicle on Highway 121 in the New Concord community for a traffic violation.
The operator turned the vehicle onto Shoemaker Road and accelerated in attempt to flee. Shortly thereafter, the vehicle exited the roadway and came to rest in a field. The operator was then taken into custody.
Christain A. Flowers, age 21, of Paris, Tennessee was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Fleeing or Evading Police in a Motor Vehicle, Aggravated Driving Under the Influence, 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment, Possession of Marijuana, Driving on a Suspended License, and various other traffic related offenses. He was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
