
Murray, Ky.–After a brief pursuit, a Buchanan man was arrested on numerous charges in Calloway County, Ky.
Around 9 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2021 , Calloway County Deputy Jon Hayden attempted to stop a motorcycle on Highway 121 South for speeding. The operator of the motorcycle accelerated and attempted to flee, according to the press release from the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.
The motorcycle exited the roadway after a brief pursuit and the operator was taken into custody.
Alexander McCauley, age 30, of Buchanan, was arrested and charged with Speeding 26 or more over the limit, 1st Degree Fleeing or Evading Police, Reckless Driving, 1st Degree Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and various other traffic related charges. He was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
