Paris, Tenn.—The Henry County Sheriff’s Office will be giving away free turnip greens starting at 9 a.m. Friday, October 27.
Chief Deputy Damon Lowe said the give-away will be held in the sheriff’s office parking lot with the line-up beginning at the back gate entrance.
All turnip greens will be cut and sacked for each person. The greens will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis.
The greens are grown by the inmate gardens.
