Union City Man Arrested Following Undercover Operation

Union City, Tenn.–As a result of an undercover operation by the Obion County Sheriff’s Office, a Union City man is being held on no bond in the county jail on drug charges.

According to the press release issued today, investigators with the sheriff’s office conducted the undercover operation at an undisclosed motel in Union City Wednesday, May 12.

As a result of the operation, Jere Glen Harrison, age 27, of Union City, was arrested and charged with possession of Schedule II with intent to sell after investigators located 6.2 grams of Methamphetamine inside a refrigerator in the motel room Harrison had rented.

He was taken to the Obion County Jail where he was arraigned on Friday, May 14th in Obion County General Sessions Court. Harrison received no bond and will remain in the Obion County Jail until his next court appearance on Thursday, May 20th at 9AM.
