Union City, Tenn.—The Union City Police Department is investigating two incidents of vandalism which occurred over the weekend. Vandals spray painted images at a city park and a local business.
Officers responded to Playground 2000 at 300 Highland Ave., on Saturday morning and found that someone had spray painted two picnic tables and parts of the gazebo with red paint. In addition, a penis had been painted on the wall between the bathrooms.
Officers also responded to Bargain Hunt at 1700 W. Reelfoot Ave. Saturday night in reference to several areas of paintball splatter on the front windows, pole of the store sign and on the front columns. There also were broken beer bottles found at the back door.
