nw-travel

Everyone who works in the travel and tourism sector in and around Northwest Tennessee are invited to hear representatives from the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development in a virtual “Lunch & Learn” session Tuesday.
Included will be a brief overview of the results of the recent marketing and PR campaign, “For the Love of Tennessee, Travel Safe,” suggestions for ways you can help them drive more tourism dollars to Northwest Tennessee and an opportunity for questions.
Special guests from the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development will be Marty Marbry, West Tennessee Division Manager; Brian Wagner, Assistant Commissioner; and Melanie Beauchamp, Assistant Commissioner, Rural Tourism & Outreach.
The NW Tennessee Travel and Tourism Group is a free, self-organized group of individuals who work in museums, attractions, hotels, restaurants, CVBs, chambers and others in the travel and tourism business.
The mission of the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development is to increase the state’s economic viability and support the growth of tourism in Tennessee by inspiring travel, developing programs and enhancing industry partnerships that drive job creation, tax revenue and new investments, thereby enriching the quality of life for every Tennessean.
