Paris, Tenn.–Good-hearted 9-year-old Bentley Gordon decided that instead of gifts for his birthday this year, he wanted to donate dog and cat food to the Paris-Henry County Animal Shelter.
Bentley collected over 20 bags of food, treats and collars to donate and delivered his haul to the shelter on Monday.
He was greeted with open arms by Animal Control Officer Mike Mead, who said, “This is amazing and we could certainly use the food.” Bentley is the son of proud parents, Shane and Megan Gordon, and Eric and Sarah Thomas.
