Two-Vehicle Collision Sends Murray Woman To Hospital

Murray, Ky.–A Murray woman was transported to the local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle accident Wednesday evening.
On Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Calloway County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the intersection of Highway 641 South and Tabard Drive for a report of a two vehicle injury collision. Upon their arrival, they located two vehicles off the roadway with damage from the collision.
Preliminary investigation has indicated Devontae Wilson of New Concord, Kentucky was southbound in a silver Dodge Ram on Highway 641. At the same time, Doris Darcus of Murray, Kentucky was northbound in a silver Chevrolet Equinox on Highway 641. Darcus attempted to make a left turn onto Tabard, failing to yield the right of way to Wilson’s vehicle.
Doris Darcus, age 78, of Murray, Kentucky was transported by Murray-Calloway County Emergency Medical Services to Murray-Calloway County Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries received during the collision.
Calloway County Sheriff’s Office was also assisted on scene by Calloway County Fire-Rescue Department.
