McKenzie, Tenn.—It’s really looking a lot like Halloween in McKenzie with the annual Scarecrow Grove set up in the downtown veterans’ park. Over a dozen scarecrows have been created in the park by local organizations and businesses. They will continue to be on display through October. And, the city is once again planning The Big Old-Fashioned Frighteningly Fun Family Boo Bash, which will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, October 26. The event will include trunk and treat, haunted train rides, costume contests and desserts. Most everything is free except for the eats. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
