Tennessee Ridge Man Arrested Boarding Ferry

Dover, Tenn.–A Tennessee Ridge man was arrested on drug charges while he was trying to board the Cumberland City Ferry early Monday morning.

Stewart County Sheriff’s Deputies Josh Miller and Caleb Rozet responded to a call from the Cumberland City Ferry operators Monday morning around 6 a.m.

According to the Sheriff’s Office press release, a man was yelling, screaming and being disorderly trying to board the ferry on the Indian Mound side. When deputies arrived and spoke with the man they smelled marijuana on him and in his car.

The manBradley Scot Nettleton, age 26, said he had gotten lost and slept in his vehicle.

A search of Nettleton and his vehicle found meth, marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and a bond of $4,000 was set.
