Martin, Tenn.–The University of Tennessee at Martin is providing a warming center for those in need at the UTM Student Life Center at 199 Moody St. (near the intersection of Moody and University St.) starting tonight. The warming center is taking shape, with water, cots, pillows, blankets, and masks. Officers from UTM police as well as the Martin Police Department will be available if there are any concerns. Please bring any needed medical devices, medication and food if you require it if you come. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Paris Police and Paris Special Schools District also are providing a warming center at Inman School in Paris until the current frigid weather is over.
