Tiptonville, Tenn.–Reelfoot Lake is frozen, but Reelfoot Lake State Park rangers urge the public not to try to walk on it, because it has just recently frozen. In a Facebook post, rangers said photo opportunities are everywhere, “but also be aware that we are under a winter storm warning and travel is discouraged after this evening until further notice…it will remain below freezing and brutally cold until at least Friday with a chance of snow every day with up to 8 to 24 inches or more possible.” (Reelfoot Lake State Park photo).
