By Shannon McFarlin WENK/WTPR News Director
Paris, Tenn.—With the Eiffel Tower in the background, members of the Manna Ministries in Union City, prepare for the Bible On Parade in Paris Saturday morning, in top photo.

Several other churches –and one Paris assisted living facility—participated in the parade. Participants re-enacted books of the Bible and walked from Eiffel Tower Park to the Paris Elementary School. The event included a picnic with free hot dogs and a free gift for each child.
Residents from Eiffel Gardens also participated, with their dog, Goldie, also involved in the parade. Eiffel Gardens Lifestyle Coordinator Patti Grantham also brought her dog, Bailey, and Debbie Michels brought her rescue dog, Paris.
Visser Oaks also brought their miniature donkeys to the event.
