Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff Office is informing citizens of a new scam regarding COVID-19 vaccines.
Sheriff Josh Frey said, “We have received a call where the caller was requesting personal information and payment to schedule an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine of the victim. The public should be aware not to give any personal information nor payment over the phone.”
COVID-19 vaccines are free and citizens should contact the Henry County Health Department with questions on how to make appointments.
