Murray, Ky.–A Murray woman is being held without bond following her arrest for assault and abuse of a small child, causing serious injuries.
Amanda S. Hernandez, age 22, is charged with Second Degree Assault (Class C Felony) and First Degree Criminal Abuse (Class C Felony). She is lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.
On Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at approximately 4 p.m., deputies with the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Murray-Calloway County Hospital for a report of a small child there with serious injuries. Upon their arrival, Deputies conducted a cooperative investigation with the Kentucky Department of Community Based Services.
