Martin, Tenn.–JT Carver will sign commitment papers with the University of Tennessee Volunteers football program on Early Signing Day, which is scheduled for 2 pm on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Westview High School.
Carver is committing as a Preferred Walk On to the Volunteers program. He will be enrolling at UT in January 2021 and be immediately eligible to participate in winter and spring drills.
Carver’s Accomplishments:
• 191 points scored in a four-year high school career
• 5 Star kicker; rated by the two premier national kicking services: Kohl’s and Sailor
• Ranked #14 nationally by Kohl’s Kicking
• 2019 All-American team for Kickoffs (Kohl’s Kicking)
• 2019 All-State 1st team by the Tennessee Football Coaches Association
• 2019 Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Finalist
• 2x All Region first team
• 27 ACT
• 3.49 GPA; dual enrollment student w/ UT Martin
