Knoxville, Tenn.–A familiar face was cheering on the Tennessee Vols at Neyland Stadium Saturday. Peyton Manning was in the stands and posed for a photo with UT Chancellor Donde Plowman, who posted it on Twitter. They both wore masks with the “Power T” on them. Plowman said in her tweet: “Great to see Peyton in Neyland today cheering on our Vols. What an incredible ambassador for our university and the ultimate Volunteer! Go Vols!” Despite the inspiration of Manning in the stands, however, the Vols lost to Florida 31-19.
