Charlotte, Tenn.—A former Houston County School Board Member is in hot water again.
Ernest “Tommy” Beechum, age 71, is awaiting sentencing on charges in connection with a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl now has been charged with a second bond violation.
Prior to his sentencing hearing at Dickson County Circuit Court, he was charged with violating conditions of his bond.
The violation stems from a warrant signed by the victim’s other who said when she and her daughter arrived for the hearing at the courthouse, Beechum followed them and was staring at her daughter.
According to the court document, Houston Co. Sheriff’s Investigator Jason Clark intervened in their behalf to stop Beechum from staring at the girl.
Beechum’s sentencing hearing now has been reset.
Beechum earlier entered a no contest plea in Houston County Court to two counts of aggravated statutory rape, solicitation to commit statutory rape by an authority figure and sexual battery by an authority figure.
