Weakley County, Tenn.–A Greenfield man is in the Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis after he was shot today while riding a 4-wheeler. His companion is in custody in the Weakley County Jail, charged in the shooting.
Tera Ann Alvarez (also known as Tera Ann Sanders), age 39, was charged with aggravated assault by Weakley County sheriff’s investigators.
She is charged with shooting 51-year-old Johnny White of Greenfield in the leg with a .380 pistol as they were riding four-wheelers in a wooded area on Stafford Store Road between Greenfield and McKenzie.
The victim was first treated at Volunteer Hospital in Martin and then transferred to the Memphis facility.
