After extensive conversations and careful consideration, the Tennessee Soybean Festival Committee has made the decision to pause the Tennessee Soybean Festival this year.
The statement provided by the Committee:
Given the current financial challenges facing our city, along with the budget, manpower, and time required to responsibly plan an event of this scale, the committee unanimously agreed this is the most responsible path forward at this time.
We understand this news will be disappointing to many, while others may feel this is the right decision for our community.
We want to sincerely thank the Tennessee Soybean Festival committee members and volunteers who dedicate countless unpaid hours each year to make this event possible. Their passion, commitment, and love for this community have never gone unnoticed, and we are deeply grateful for their service and leadership through this decision.
We remain committed to moving our community forward responsibly and sustainably, and we appreciate the community’s continued support and grace as we do so together.
