The Hickman County (Kentucky) Sheriff’s Office has been investigating a fatality collision that happened last night at Ingram Barge in Columbus, Ky.

Ingram employees heard the collision and called Dispatch after finding what they believed to be a car that hit their ramp and went into the river.

A diver with McCracken County Emergency Management dove down to the vehicle and hooked it up to a wrecker to be pulled out.

Once the vehicle was out of the water it was determined that there were three occupants inside. The cause of the crash is still under investigation at this time.

Identities of the occupants will not be released at this time, as families have not yet been notified. Big thank you to, McCracken County EM, Kentucky State Police, Buddy’s Wrecker Service, Ingram Barge Company, and every first responder in Hickman County.
