Dyer County, Tenn.–A daycare worker from Obion has been accused of abusing children under her care in a center in Newbern in Dyer County.
Savannah Alexander, 22, of Obion, was charged with two counts of assault involving incidents that occurred at the Smarty Tots Too in Newbern. The incidents happened between November and December of 2025.
Law enforcement said the victims were between the ages of 2 and 4 and did not have any injuries that required medical attention. A parent reported the alleged abuse and investigators launched an investigation which included video surveillance tapes.
