Tiptonville, Tenn.–As part of the America 250 celebration, Governor Bill Lee and First Lady Maria Lee visited Lake County over the weekend. After meeting with local citizens at Boyette’s Dining Room, the Governor and First Lady stopped by Reelfoot Lake State Park, where they took time to visit with and take photos alongside park staff.
This visit is part of Governor Lee’s commitment to travel to all 95 counties across Tennessee to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary. The statewide initiative began on July 1, 2025, with the Farmland Preservation Tour across all Three Grand Divisions, honoring Tennessee’s rich agricultural heritage and the communities that help preserve it.
Reelfoot officials said tey were honored to welcome Governor and First Lady Lee to Reelfoot Lake State Park and appreciate their continued support of Tennessee’s natural resources, parks, and local communities.
