Palmersville, Tenn.–A house was saved but a two-story workshop was a total loss after a late night fire Saturday in Palmersville.
A little before midnight, the Palmersville Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a garage fire threatening a house.
Units arrived on scene and found a two story workshop fully involved and a nearby house that had caught fire. Crews put the house fire out completely and with minimal damage, but the shop ended in a total loss.
Over 18,000 gallons of water was flowed to extinguish both structures. Mutual aid was provided by the Cottage Grove TN Volunteer Fire Department, Como Volunteer Fire Department, along with Weakley County EMS and TDOT.
