Paris, Tenn.–The first session of the Henry County VITA Tax Service that was scheduled for Tuesday, February 3, at the Atkins-Porter Rec Center is cancelled. Organizer Bob Frame said the session is cancelled due to poor road and parking conditions at the Rec Center.
“We anticipate that we should be able to operated on our next Scheduled session, Tuesday, February 10th,” he said.
If anyone has not already re-scheduled, they can call Frame at (731) 262-0954 for a new appointment.
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) service is offered free.
The service is headquartered at the Atkins-Porter Recreation Center at 301 S. Highland St., Paris, and is open the following Tuesdays: , February 10th, 18th, 25th ; March 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, April 1st, 8th (last session)
