Forestry Crews Clearing Trees, Debris From Storm Aftermath

Tennessee Division of Forestry crews have taken on dozens of disaster response assignments across more than 10 counties, clearing trees and debris from roadways. While final numbers are still coming in, we want to share a few outstanding reports of our crews’ work:
Clay County:
🌳 2,500 trees have been cut and removed from roads
🛣️ 100 miles of road have been cleared
Macon County:
🛣️ 25 miles of road have been cleared
🚛 17 dump truck loads of wood have been hauled off
Hickman County:
🛣️ 45 miles of road have been cleared
McNairy County:
🛣️ 100 roads cleared
Decatur County:
🛣️ 20 roads cleared
