Dover, Tenn.–Winter Storm Fern is expected to bring a significant amount of snow and ice and result in potentially dangerous travel and walking conditions.
In preparation, access to Fort Donelson closed at 4:30 p.m., Friday, January 23.
All park areas and facilities, including the visitor center, “Surrender House,” tour roads, and Fort Donelson National Cemetery, will be closed until post-storm conditions are evaluated and deemed safe. This closure also includes the Fort Heiman Unit road, New Concord, KY.
