Camden, Tenn.–Pack 28 Cub Scouts, Troop 3 and the Carroll County 4-H Honor Club chose a day on, not a day off on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and helped at the Second Harvest program on Monday. Amanda Paschall said the groups sorted 2,795 pounds of food which will feed 2,329 people or 582 families of four. “The thought behind visiting Second Harvest was to see how our food pantry for the senior boxes get food from Food Banks. Trying to connect those community resources and partners,” according to Amanda Paschall.
