While Discovery Park of America is currently not open on Mondays, we’re making an exception for our first event of 2026. Join us Monday, Jan. 19, to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a day of inspiration, reflection and hands-on learning in Dinosaur Hall.

Explore the history, ideas and people who shaped the civil rights movement, enjoy uplifting music and discover ways to give back to your community. The 2026 King Day program is free and open to all.

The celebration, beginning at 11 a.m., will be emceed by Discovery Park board member and University of Tennessee at Martin first lady Rafielle Freeman.
